Exceptional Terroir

Since 2020

The Vayots Dzor region is home to the site of Cave1 Areni, where the oldest wine cellar in the world was discovered, dating back more than 6,100 years. Located at the south of the Armenian capital Yerevan, this region bears witness to the origins of viticulture.

Our 10-hectare vineyard, located in the village of Aghavnadzor, benefits from an exceptional terroir made of volcanic and limestone soils. The unique climatic conditions and the absence of phylloxera enrich our native and ungrafted grape varieties, thus preserving the authenticity and purity of the wines produced.
